Cuanto cobrar por mi primer trabajo programando????

Post by Tovilin »

Gracias
Tovi

:?: Hello guys let me say that out here in California most jobs are charge by the hour and they take in consideration the needs of what the intentions and desires of the client. Factors like will the client have a high volume of visitors, can his company offer customer service promptly, his target group of customers. Will the site be easy to navigate or will the customer refrain from visiting.

Give yourselves the time to sit down with your clien and see what he really wants.

Raymond

P.S.- hourly rates here in California normally start around 75-85 dollars and hour not including opt testing the website to make sure it's fuctioning.

Make sure they have registered their domain names and chosen who will provide for their nameservers.
We at www.elmaunabeno.com and www.millyschildhomecare.com run our webs from computers at home running on DSL. Have you homeserver lately?

Raymond...

When you talk about the hourly rate you refer to the time the designer spends in the webpage desing or is something else i have missed...

P.S. I also found out that a lot of web desing companies charge on a per layout basis staring from $300 for an average basic homepage and going all up to $1400 for a full featured web site (not including domain name and hosting or one with aditional monthly/yearly fee with hosting included or separetly)

Thanks Mark

Thanks for high lighting this; yes that's basically true(varies from company to company). Think of it as initial designer fees but like you mentioned the overall price package is what really counts. All web designers will sit with their clients and have everything in writing prior to final signature.

Thanks again

Then, for me, since the webpage requires quite a lot of PHP programming and MySQL database management, the best option is to charge by the hour.

Charging on a per layout basis most of the time is for a static web page with graphics and info.

Thanks
